We are running a 6 week course – Barn Hunt for Puppies
Barn Hunt for Puppies is a 6 week course for puppies aged from 10 weeks – 6 months.
Barn Hunt is a game of hide and seek for dogs! It is a fun sport for your dog where they have to use their nose to locate the rat** (safely secured in an aerated tube) in a fully enclosed ring with straw bale obstacles. Sniffing and using their noses is such a fun and rewarding activity for dogs, they love this sport!
The course covers:
introduction to the rat (in the tube) and will take you through working on their searching skills and their indicator, introducing them to tunnels and hiding spaces to investigate, building their confidence and growing your bond as a team. Barn Hunt is designed to be fun, interactive and informal – we celebrate every dog and handler success and never let any dog fail.
The course also offers socialisation with other dogs, new people, a new environment, sounds and smells.
The class is 6.30pm – 7.30pm Tuesday evenings for 6 weeks.

**in the UK we only use rats from reputable reptile food suppliers, live rats are not used in the UK. Your dog will not come into contact with the rat.
